Step by Step

This tour of Ho Chi Minh City brings together two of the country's main customs: motorbike travel and tasty local cuisine. An experienced guide will pick you up from your hotel (in districts 1 and 3) and take you to various restaurants in the capital. You won't have to worry about driving, so you can also enjoy a nice cold beer.

The itinerary takes about 3.5 hours - depending on traffic - while the menu consists of 11 dishes. Among the most popular are:

  • Bánh Mì - Baguette or stuffed sandwich, usually with local ingredients (coriander, pickled daikon or the local sausage giò lụa) and French (mayonnaise and pâté).
  • Chuối nướng - A delicate Vietnamese banana and coconut pudding. It is made using Thai bananas, which are shorter and fattier than the ones we are used to.
  • Bun Bò Hue - A tasty noodle soup with slices of beef or pork soaked in a spicy broth. This recipe originates from Hue, the ancient capital of the country.
  • Goi du du - Papaya salad, a classic street food. The acidity of the tropical fruit is enhanced by shredded beef.
  • Bánh Tráng Nướng - A round sheet of rice, topped with eggs, meat, sauces and other ingredients. Its speed of preparation - about 1 minute - and taste have made it a hit.

The itinerary runs in all seasons and is an original way to explore the capital.

    I loved the food, I wouldn't add or subtract any dish from the tasting, it was excellent! But what surprised me without a doubt was the Vietnamese beer, so well done! Everything was excellent that day, highly recommended!
