Embark on an enriching walk through the largest city on Lake Titicaca in a 2-hour activity. You will visit the majestic Puno Cathedral, a 17th century jewel designated as a Minor Basilica. The façade sculpted by Simon de Asto and its fusion of Spanish and Andean Baroque elements give the building a distinctive mestizo character, testifying to the city's rich architectural heritage.
Arriving at the Huajsapata Park you will be able to contemplate from a natural plateau the spectacular view of Puno from above, with the famous Lake Titicaca in the background. At the top of this park you will find a monument dedicated to Manco Capac, founder of the Inca Empire, a reminder of the city's deep historical connection to the past.
The tour will also take you to the imposing Deustua Arch, built in 1846 to honour the brave Peruvian soldiers who fought in the battles of Junín and Ayacucho in the Spanish-American War of Independence.
