Step by Step
Get ready for a journey of around 7 hours along the Aymara Route, a journey that will take you to explore the most unique tourist treasures of the region. You will enter the enigmatic Temple of Fertility in Chucuito, known locally as "Inca Uyo". This historic site houses around eight stone phalluses and is linked to magical rituals intended to cure infertility .
The trip will take you to the Chullpas de Molloco in Acora. These impressive pre-Inca structures, which fuse the Inca and Lupaca cultures, will captivate you with their unique design. The funerary remains and burials reveal the connections between the two cultures, a tangible testimony to the rich history of the region.
You will also reach the Aramu Muru Portal, located at the southern end of Ilave. It is a testament to the profound relationship between history and nature, a place where time seems to stand still.
Finally, you will go to Juli, known as the "Rome of America" . Here you can admire the majestic cathedral from the main square and then head to the beautiful Juli beach. If you are looking for thrills beyond history, you will have the opportunity to enjoy optional activities such as kayaking, quad biking and jet skiing, which for an additional cost will add a touch of adventure to your experience on the coast.
