This palace is a great place to visit and see one of the most beautiful buildings in the Baltic countries, which was built in the 18th century. The most characteristic thing you will see as soon as you arrive is its yellow and white façade, with ornamental details that are pure elegance and represent baroque at its best.
Inside the palace you will be able to see the representative rooms of the eastern wing: the Golden Hall, the White Hall and the Great Gallery. The central block houses the Duke's suite with reception rooms and private rooms, and the eastern block, a fully restored suite of rooms for the Duchess.
A number of exhibitions are held inside the palace, as well as hosting the Early Music Festival and classical music recitals.
In addition to the fantastic interior of the palace, you can also visit its wonderful garden. In French style, you can admire the rose garden, the ornamental flowerbeds and the fountain, which are open to the public.
