Together with a local guide you will learn about the history of the area and points of interest such as:
- Limpiopungo Lagoon: crystal clear water lake surrounded by majestic mountains and breathtaking natural landscapes. You will be able to walk along its paths, enjoy the fauna and flora of the place and, if you are lucky, see some animals such as llamas and condors.
- Quilotoa Lagoon: it is among the most beautiful volcanic lagoons in the world. You will be able to admire the panoramic views of the place and walk along its paths.
- Cotopaxi Volcano: weather permitting, you can hike to see the active volcano Cotopaxi at 5900 meters above sea level.
- Quilotoa Volcano: active volcano located in the Andes Mountains, which houses an impressive turquoise lagoon in its crater. You can hike the trails that surround it.
Before arriving at Cotopaxi National Park, you will visit a local museum to learn more about the unique biodiversity of the area. You will also visit one or two local markets to discover the culture and traditions of the region.
