As you will see, a day trip to Mount Fansipan is possible. Fansipan is a mountain in Vietnam, with a height of 3,147.3 metres, and the highest mountain on the Indochinese Peninsula, hence the name "the roof of Indochina".
Instead of trekking, for a shorter trip you can take the cable car near the Ha Pagoda to reach the Fansipan Peak in just a few minutes. It is recommended that you wear light, waterproof, insect-proof and warm clothing to help you keep warm.
Once you have visited Fansipan Peak, you will have some time to stroll around Sapa. Known as the 'city of clouds', this town is a gem in Vietnam for its iconic cascading rice paddies, lush valleys and emerald mountains, making it one of the most attractive destinations in the country.
