You'll sample the oldest pizza in the city and in the United States at Lombardi's Pizza, the first pizzeria ever opened in the country, founded in 1905 and located on Spring Street.
You'll walk through the best restaurants for pasticho, pasta, pizza and other classic dishes of the world's most famous cuisine as you pass places like Da Nico, renowned for its delicious pastas, and Il Cortile for the greatest variety of presentations and wines.
You will learn about the history behind the Italian immigrant community in the Big Apple, which has left a mark of culture and gastronomy in the region.
If you are a lover of typical Italian sweets such as Sicilian cannolis, sfogliatelle made of puff pastry and authentic gelato, you will enjoy tasting them in the most representative cafés in Little Italy.
One of the most popular is Ferrara Bakery, the area's pioneering coffee shop, founded in 1892. They say you can't leave the Italian Quarter without trying their gelato!
And you won't be able to resist having an espresso and a selfie with Audrey Hepburn' s stunning mural in the background at Caffe Roma on Mulberry Street.
This work of art created by New York artist Tristan Eaton is one of the most beautiful and colourful postcards of the tour, and one you're sure to cherish forever.
At the end of the tour, you will have the opportunity to take home the best bread, the most exquisite wines and all kinds of delicacies made in New York's Little Italy neighbourhood.
