Step by Step
In this activity you will have the opportunity, for about 2.5 hours, to cycle through some of the most picturesque and lively neighbourhoods of Los Angeles. You will be accompanied by an expert guide, in a small group of no more than 8 people, and you will learn about the history and culture of these neighbourhoods .
You will visit Grand Central Market, one of the oldest markets in the city full of local food stalls. Here you'll find some of the best places to eat in the city, as well as some of the most innovative chefs .
Stop by the Angel City Brewery, an iconic pub considered the frontier of the city's arts district. Inside, the building still retains its classic look, and some of California' s most acclaimed craft beers .
At Hauser & Wirth, the famous Swiss art gallery, you'll have time to wander around the building's artwork on your own. The Los Angeles gallery is housed in what was once a mill, and features art exhibitions, events and learning activities that connect with the local community.
As you pass the Wisdome LA, a major centre for arts events in the city, you can stop and see what's happening there. Then you can come back later and see the ones you prefer on your own.
Throughout the tour, you'll also pass numerous bars, craft breweries and major distilleries , which your guide will point out to you, telling you the prices and the locals' favourite spots.
Once in Little Tokyo, the Japanese quarter of Los Angeles, you will stop in front of the Japanese American National Museum, dedicated to preserving the history and culture of Japanese Americans. In Little Tokyo, you will also have the opportunity to see Go For Broke. This is a well-known memorial dedicated to Japanese Americans who fought against Japan during World War II.
At the end of the activity, you will return to the original starting point, as it is a round trip.
