The Yas Marina Circuit is famous for hosting the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix since 2009. It is known worldwide for being a great racing circuit and the most technologically developed.
The circuit located on a man-made island in the capital of the United Arab Emirates is believed to be the most expensive Formula 1 track ever built, with a construction cost in excess of 800 million euros in 2009.
The circuit borrows some features from a street circuit, although it is a permanent facility.
