Step by Step
Don't miss out on this experience where you'll get closer than ever to the Rhine Falls. The distance from Zurich to this natural wonder is about 50 km, but you don't have to worry about that, as the return transfers in an air-conditioned vehicle are included.
Both on the trip itself and once you've reached the Rhine, you'll be accompanied by a tour guide. He or she will explain the wonders and importance of this river throughout history.
From a viewpoint overlooking the many waterfalls of the Rhine, you will be able to take unforgettable photographs, as well as videos where you can hear the thundering sound of the Rhine. During your free time, you can also enjoy the architecture of the medieval castle of Laufen, which has stood guard over the waterfalls for centuries.
If you visit during the summer months, from June to August, you will have the option of enjoying a boat trip which will take you to the falls on the water of the river itself.
On the way back to Zurich you will make a short stop at another important monument. This is the Munot fortress built in the 16th century, which is famous because every night a watchman who lives there rings its bell for 5 minutes.
