Marbella Sierra Blanca Electric Bike Tour

This excursion is done on an electric mountain bike, a means of transport that allows you to tackle the climbs with less effort. The route starts from a central point in Marbella and, after leaving the city behind, goes into the nature of the Sierra Blanca. In addition to the bike, it also includes the hire of a helmet, insurance and an expert guide who will lead you along the trails.

The activity lasts approximately 4 hours and allows you to explore one of the famous Pueblos Blancos, Istán. Of Moorish origin, it is characterised by the contrast between the white houses and the green of the surrounding forests. It is known for its springs (fed by Moorish irrigation channels), the picturesque Church of San Miguel and the viewpoints overlooking the valley.

Here you will also find the Embalse de la Concepción or Pantano del Río Verde, the water reservoir of the Costa del Sol. It is a natural space of great importance, as well as the habitat of cormorants, gulls, ducks and other species.

Before setting off, the guide will briefly explain how an electric bike works. It's not complicated, and after a few pedals, you'll feel comfortable. In addition to less fatigue, an electric mountain bike reduces stress and provides the same muscular benefits as a traditional bike.
