With a wide variety of habitats, such as dunes, marshes, salt marshes and canals that provide shelter to numerous animals, you will be able to see more than 200 different species, both resident and migratory birds. During the tour you may spot everything from pink flamingos and grey herons to crabs and colourful fish .
As you go, you'll discover the many islands and pristine beaches that dot the landscape. You'll first stop at Barreta Island, where you can explore its fine sandy beaches, spot seabirds such as avocets and even walk along nature trails.
Then you'll travel to Farol Island, a paradise of crystal-clear waters with typical colourful and rustic houses . Stroll through the narrow sandy streets and see the historic lighthouse of Santa Maria. Visit each island for about 45 minutes and make the most of the golden sand, the sun and the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic.
