Step by Step
A segway tour of Krakow is the most original way to get around the city without getting tired and while enjoying a fun two-wheeled vehicle. For approximately 2 hours, you will ride your Segway through the streets of the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter of Krakow, two of the most interesting areas.
An expert local guide will accompany you throughout the tour and will share with you historical facts, legends and anecdotes at every stop along the way. You will follow a comprehensive itinerary that will take you to the main sights of the city, starting with Krakow's historic central square, Rynek Glowny:
- The Droga Krolewska or Royal Way, to discover the reason for the name.
- St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, one of the most beautiful churches in Krakow.
- Wawel Castle, where you will learn about the kings and queens of Poland, and the Wawel Dragon Monument, where one of the most famous legends comes from.
- Bazylika Franciszkanów and Bazylika Mariacka, the latter built on several levels.
- Florian's Gate, the last fragment of Kraków's city wall.
There will also be time to walk along Ulica Kanonicza, the oldest street in the city, or Szczepanski Square, the location of the former Helena Modrzejewska Theatre.
No matter if it's your first time on a Segway, the guide will give you a briefing before the tour so that you are completely safe. This is a small group activity, so you will have the guide at your disposal if you need his help at any point of the tour.
The tour includes segway hire and a safety helmet, as well as a mackintosh in case of rain. For your comfort during the tour, you will also have bottled water at your disposal.
