If you want to discover the communist side of Krakow, this is your chance. And you will do it in an authentic Soviet Lada, to add more realism to the activity. Choose the option you like best when you book. You have a standard and a deluxe option so you can choose the one that best suits your trip. Both include pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation so you don't have to worry about how to get there.
You will tour the Nowa Huta district, which was created in the years 1949-1951. There you will also walk through this modern district where a large statue of Lenin, erected in 1973, reigns supreme. During the tour you will see the peculiar evolution of this district, where there is also a church built, which the communist government allowed at the time.
If you choose the "standard" option, which takes about two and a half hours, you will have the opportunity to have a snack in an old restaurant, as well as visit a shop from the 1950s in the Cepelix. There you will visit a small exhibition of communist items that are still preserved from this era.
On the other hand, you will have a "deluxe" option, with a tour of about four hours. Added to this experience is a lunch in an old-school "Milk Bar" canteen and a visit to an abandoned Cold War steelworks headquarters.
