- Car: you will have to take the routes 50 Avenida Nte. and Cancun - Chetumal/Carr. Tulum - Cancun/Mexico 307 and you will be about 10 minutes away.
- Taxi: you have the option of taking one of the official taxis of Playa del Carmen and it will take you about 13 minutes for the outward journey and the same time for the return. The price of the trip can be from around 15 euros for the outward journey and the same price for the return.
- Bus via Xcaret: this bus connects Playa del Carmen with Xcaret in 7 minutes, but when you get off you will have to walk more than 2 kilometres to get to the park. It has a frequency of 15 minutes, so it is a very convenient option. The approximate price is around 2 euros per trip.
- Bus: this option leaves from the Playa del Carmen Tourist Terminal and will drop you off at Xcaret Park, but the duration of the trip will be of approximately 50 minutes and the frequency is only 3 times a day. The approximate price is around 7 euros per trip.

- Mayan Village: Absorb the Mayan culture in a journey to the heart of the Yucatan. Access between 8:30am and 7pm.
- Mexican Cemetery "Bridge to Paradise": a replica of a Mexican cemetery that symbolises the way of living death. You will be able to enter between 8:30 in the morning and 6 in the afternoon.
- Scenic Tower: one of the most popular attractions of Xcaret, where you will be able to appreciate the best panoramic view at 80 metres high. You will be able to access it between 10 in the morning and 6:45 in the afternoon.

Here you will have all kinds of local fauna, treasures of the Caribbean Sea in the aquarium, the most exotic birds in the Aviary, the orchids of the Mayan world, a butterfly garden and much more. And best of all, all of them are included in the Xcaret ticket. Here are the main natural attractions of Xcaret.
- Coral reef aquarium: it houses the marine life of the Caribbean and can be visited from 9am to 6pm.
- Aviary: it is a natural sanctuary where birds interact freely and you will be able to appreciate their plumage and songs. It can be visited from 8:30 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon.
- Paradise River: ideal to live the experience of the underground rivers on a raft. The timetable for this activity is from 8:30 in the morning to 5:30 in the afternoon.
- Living Museum of Orchids and Bromeliads: enjoy the colours and aromas of the orchids of the Mayan world. The timetable to visit this museum is from 8:30 in the morning to 6:30 in the afternoon.
- Jaguars Island: you will be able to observe the imposing jaguars from 8:30 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon.

Xcaret Shows
The shows are a Xcaret classic, they are varied and have a very particular display, they are very colourful and you will definitely want to enjoy them. There are shows of various durations, from 20 minutes to 2 hours, so you can choose the one that best suits your visit. All of them are included in the Xcaret ticket.
- Xcaret Mexico Espectacular: a great show dedicated to Mexico with more than 300 artists showing the culture and history of the country. You can see it at 7pm and it lasts 2 hours.
- Equestrian show: a show on Aztec horses with all the colour of folklore. You can see it at 5:30 p.m. and it lasts 20 minutes.
- Pre-Hispanic dances: a unique show between the jungle and underground rivers. It lasts 25 minutes and starts at 4:45 in the afternoon.
- Voladores de Papantla: a great pre-Hispanic ritual ceremony of birdmen surrounded by jungle. It lasts 25 minutes and there are three schedules: 11am, 1pm, 6pm.
How much time do you need to visit Xcaret Park in its entirety?
Although the length of your visit depends very much on the type of visit, whether you go on your own or on an excursion, as a family, with children or as a couple, it is possible to estimate an approximate duration.
If you plan to visit Xcaret Park on an excursion, bear in mind that they usually last up to 12 hours. On the other hand, if you decide to go on your own, consider these times: you will have about 4 hours of water activities, about 2 hours more for natural attractions, and 2 hours for cultural activities, to which you will have to add some more time if you plan to see a show. All in all, it will last for a total of 8 hours.
What are the opening and closing times of Xcaret Park?
Please note that Xcaret Park is open every day of the year, Monday to Sunday, between 8:30am and 10:30pm, including public holidays.
