Step by Step
Embark on a day trip by train from Dublin to Blarney and Cork, two must-see destinations in Ireland. The journey, which takes around 12 hours, begins at Dublin train station, where you'll board a comfortable train and enjoy a scenic journey through the Irish countryside.
Once you arrive in Blarney, you will head to the famous Blarney Castle, a medieval fortress set amidst beautiful gardens. Here, if you wish, you will have the opportunity to kiss the famous Stone of Eloquence, which according to legend, will grant you the gift of eloquence. You will also have free time to explore the gardens on your own and take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Afterwards, you'll head to Cork, known as the 'capital of the south', which is noted for its lively atmosphere, rich history and impressive architecture. In Cork, you'll pay a visit to Cobh, where you'll have the opportunity to explore the Queenstown Story Heritage Centre. This centre offers a captivating experience telling the story of Queenstown (now Cobh), an important port of departure for emigrants during the period of the Great Irish Famine and an embarkation point for passengers on the Titanic.
On completion you will return to Dublin by train, as the tour includes all return transfers by train and coach, plus the company of an expert guide.
