Step by Step

Embark on a paradisiacal journey from Prague to the rocky mountains and lush green forests of Saxon Switzerland and Bohemian Switzerland. Both are located between the Czech Republic and Germany, two countries you'll visit on this approximately nine-hour tour.

A comfortable minivan with wifi and air conditioning will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Bohemian Switzerland National Park, where you can explore natural wonders such as the Pravčická Gate.

This is the largest natural stone arch in Europe, which was featured in the Narnia films. This formation is a total of 21 metres high and 27 metres long, giving you one of the most breathtaking scenes of the walk.

You will pass through the forest to the Kamenice River, where you will experience a breathtaking boat ride through the Edmund's Gorges. This is the area that runs through the bowels of the park among trees and plants that will make you feel like you are in a fairy tale.

Upon arrival in the town of Hrensko, you can relax and enjoy a delicious lunch of Czech cuisine, with a vegan and vegetarian menu available to suit all tastes. Snacks and drinks are also available throughout the tour.

In Saxon Switzerland, now in German territory, you will continue your idyllic experience through Europe's most beautiful landscapes in the Elbe Valley, southeast of Dresden. There you will pass another of the region's monumental wonders: the Bastei Bridge, which stands 200 metres above the Elbe River.

After crossing it, you can walk along a route that stretches for more than 2,000 km, which is often used by locals and tourists for climbing, mountaineering and mountain biking. You will also see the ruins of the Neurathen stone castle. At the end of this unforgettable experience, your driver will take you and your group back to your hotel in Prague.

Very well organised and the weather helped us a lot. We even saw rainbows and took photos which I will frame on my return home.
